"I read this years ago after visiting Barcelona. It's set in the 1940s, and it has stuck with me.
The writing is very descriptive presenting a very atmospheric city. The premise is a library of forgotten books.
It follows a young man on a quest pick a book from the library and to make sure this forgotten book survives. This quest was given to him as a distraction from his sorrow. It's a thriller following the main character through his life.
It's both a great read abd a fabulous description of the city."
